Born as Ramacharya in a humble family in Raichur, he received initiation into sanyasa from Sri Satyapriya Tirtha, who took the responsibility of imparting Vedic knowledge to the young Ramacharya within Sri Uttaradi Matha.

During his worship, Shri Ramacharya experienced a divine vision of Lord Shvetavaraha, a testament to his profound devotion and the blessings from his guru. The Ganga herself came to the matha for his convenience, illustrating the divine favor he enjoyed.
Shri Satyabodha Tirtha confronted deceptive individuals who exploited their purported connection with divine entities. His interventions brought about their transformation and sincere surrender. Notably, during a Gaya tour, he countered exploitative practices and established a shelter for pilgrims.

His tenure as the pontiff lasted for 39 years, during which he faced challenges, displayed extraordinary powers, and earned admiration across communities. Shri Satyabodha Tirtha’s life inspired the composition of “Shri Satyabodha Vijaya,” a kavya narrating his remarkable journey. Even beyond his physical existence, pilgrims continue to visit his brindavana, seeking blessings from this revered saint.
